SACRED HAWK

Yesterday I shot these shirts from Sacred Hawk with my girlfriend, who was also modelling some killer pieces from the brand. As a brand they originally only sold womenswear, but have recently launched a menswear collection which I was lucky enough to get my hands on. I saw a preview a few weeks back and chose two western style shirts from the exciting new capsule. The shirts themselves are inexpensive but pack some serious style. The whole collection has a vintage look and retro feel, which I love.

This first shirt I styled is definitely my favourite of the two, as it has a very cool cowboy vibe. The shirt has contrasting colours in red and white, styled with traditional angles and swooping curves you'd typically find on a western shirt. I also think the black breast pockets are a great finishing touch.

I was given both shirts in a medium which isn't my usual size, as I prefer a smaller fit, nevertheless I styled them up in my normal fashion. The other shirt I chose was one I'd never normally go for, I mean it's green for a start, but since it's officially summer I thought I'd change it up and wear something a little bit different and get out of my comfort zone.

If you're on a budget and don't want to sacrifice your style, then these shirts still have a little extra edge. I'd recommend checking out their collection across at Sacred Hawk, and you can also find them on ASOS!

THE KOOPLES

You'll all probably know by now The Kooples is my favourite brand of all time. The individual look and rock 'n' roll style of each of their garments is something I've always loved ever since I first laid eyes on their killer pieces. Every single aspect of the brand is just so cool. My favourite part of the brand is their smoking hot campaigns, which over the years have used countless real-life couples.

It was my girlfriends birthday last week so with that in mind I bought her, her very first piece from The Kooples. I also treat myself to this very cool shirt, (how could I not)! Since Chloe and I had two new items from The Kooples we couldn't resist getting out there together to recreate our very own Kooples inspired shoot.

I think the photographs have turned out awesome, Adam the photographer is super talented and has captured us in such a relaxed way. I'd say we did a pretty good job in showing off the garments, I mean what a cooler way to shoot both Kooples pieces together. The short sleeve shirt is something I adore, the tattoo like illustration print coupled with the fit and cut, makes this shirt a super cool piece for the summer months ahead.

I styled this shirt as I always dress my shirts, the classic go-to skinnies and hat paired with my black Kooples leather. CJ also decided to wear a super cool vintage American leather from Lost Highway nothing looks cooler than matching leathers right? Chloe also mixed her outfit up by wearing blue denim jeans and a contrasting red bandanna for that little extra pop of colour.

I've kept some of these photographs in colour, which yes, is a little out of character for me, but why would I edit them when they look this cool? We both chose to wear our sunglasses while shooting, CJ in her tinted yellow shades and myself in my faded orange glasses. I actually found these, believe it or not in my garage. I stumbled upon them whilst back home last month and haven't taken them off my face since. I bloody love them!

I realise I've not been as on it with my YouTube recently, so I've made an extra effort this week, and I have a great video for you all to watch, a small chatty one which will fill you all in about what I've been up to in these past few weeks.

7 FOR ALL MANKIND

Evening all, how's your weekend been? I've had quite the productive one! Yesterday was very exciting indeed! My girlfriend CJ and I shot a lookbook for a Parisian leather brand. But that's all I can say for now, (so secretive I know) but expect a super cool post all about yesterday coming soon! I know the photographs were killer and I can't wait to share them with you all!

Today's post I'm throwing it back to last weekend, after I spent a few days back in the North East, after once again being struck down with the dreaded man flu! I was feeling pretty sorry for myself when I arrived back home, but what better way to improve my mood than receiving some 'bloggermail'! I use that term very loosely, as I still wouldn't class myself as a blogger! Nevertheless, I did receive a very special gift and that's what I'm talking about today.

I was kindly gifted this killer leather jacket and awesome light grey t-shirt from the brand 7 For All Mankind. I was not expecting something so extravagant, a leather jacket as well as a t-shirt! I felt very lucky to have been given such amazing pieces, so a big thank you has to be said for these two super cool items! Since the weather last weekend was so good, I took advantage of the sun and headed to my local beach to shoot these two killer pieces.

I love the way the photographs have turned out, you really can't beat a black and white image of a beach. It was such a warm day I had to loose the super soft Italian leather a handful of times, but with this classic grey tee also from '7FAM' paired with some vintage sunglasses kept the outfit looking very cool.

The attention to detail is something I was very impressed with, the 7 For All Mankind logo is carefully engraved onto each zip of the leather jacket, and even the t-shirt has a little leather patch sewn onto it, with added metal number 7 detail. The quality of the materials used in their clothing is clearly high-end, the fit and finish of each piece is one of the best I've seen. I know I'll treasure these two killer pieces in my wardrobe for years to come.

As you can see I stuck to my classic pairing of black skinny jeans and buckle boots to make this outfit my own. I love this outfit and the laid back, super cool vibe the items from 7 For All Mankind give you.
