MY NEW FAVOURITE BLACK SKINNY JEANS

The saviour of my life, black skinny jeans! You'll all know by now, black skinnies have always, and will continue to be, a huge part of my look. You'd think a staple pair of black skinny jeans would be an easy item to buy, but no, a good pair are extremely hard to find! I'm a sucker for a dark, black pair, my favourites over the years have been the 'Print Cigarettes' from All Saints which, unfortunately, they no longer produce (nightmare)!

Whilst working at A.S I stock piled these jeans and had a pair for every day of the week, but now years after leaving, they've all pretty much ripped or washed out on me. Leaving me in the tough position of trying to find some new jeans which will measure up, and replace my old ones.

I've tried countless pairs on over the last few weeks, everything from Levi, Cheap Monday to Topman, but none felt the same or even looked half as good as my trusty old ones! That is, until I found this killer pair from a company called Rolla's. I didn't want my outfit to detract from the jeans, so I've gone for a simple white low scoop t-shirt and a white linen shirt, coupled with my black suede boots and a selection of my normal everyday accessories.

I came across these jeans whilst shopping at Urban Outfitters last week in Manchester. I'd never heard of the brand before, but after a quick Instagram stalk and look on their website, I found out they're pretty damn cool. The brand message of Rolla's is this "Paying homage to the eras when jeans came into their own. A time of rock n roll, road tripping, supermodels, iconic photographers and electric living. Rolla’s is a classic denim brand celebrating authenticity and simplicity and applying it to a frivolous and free modern lifestyle." Which, if you ask me, is a bloody cool company mission statement.

The jeans I bought are the 'Stinger Lightening' black skinnies, and safe to say I bloody love em! They might even beat my all time favourites from A.S! I love everything from the fit, to how dark the denim is, plus the many small details on the jeans, they're perfect! The details include a black leather patch with the Rolla's logo embossed onto it, to another slightly smaller label stitched on the top of the back pocket. I never thought jeans could be this rock 'n' roll, but I've been proven wrong.

Now to mention the location of where I shot my new favourite jeans. This place, believe it or not, is right next to the hotel I'm staying in, in Greece. The whole island I'm staying on is built upon this hard clay ground. This grey rock actually stretches right down to the coast where the locals use it as a mask & body scrub. I just knew I had to take advantage of this weird moon like landscape and shoot my jean post here.

Rolla's offer a large range of killer jeans for men, plus some sexy shirts & rocker tees! They also stock a range of women's jeans and apparel, which has just recently launched online. I'd never come across the brand this time last week, but after looking at their garments, as well as being a fan of the brand's philosophy and aesthetic, I'm certainly going to become a regular customer! It's definitely a website & brand you should check out if you have a similar style or taste to me, you're almost guaranteed to find something you'll love!
